Finance 1050: Personal Finance
Reflection
The three most important things I've learned in this class are as follows. I learned a lot about the reality of having a budget. I also learned that having a credit card is a curse as well as a blessing. I learned a lot about interest rates and how they can affect your life. Any kind of loan can affect your life as well, considering how well your credit score is or how much you make. This class also helped me learn how to correctly file my taxes.
The concepts from this class that I think I will use most in life is how to budget. I already know how to save and put money away. But now that I know exactly how to budget, I think it will be easier to budget. Budgeting is really simple if you've done things like it from when you're young. I look forward to seeing how good I'll do when I have a real career.
The concepts from this class that I think I will use the least is the information about payday loans. They sound like they're tricky and won't help at all. I don't plan on ever thinking about using them. I don't think that they will ever be helpful. If I have an emergency then I'll use a credit card. They don't sound like they will be very helpful.
